Inviting all frazzled mums to rest, reset and be nurtured during this Mums’ Retreat.
Our retreat will include a gentle, restorative Pilates Reformer session, to help you move with fluidity and release tension from your body. The class is suitable for all, including those who are new to the reformer or who are managing an injury.
We will then move to the downstairs studio to enjoy a restorative yoga class, combining gentle, flowing movements with held resting poses designed to release tension, untangle tight shoulder and create a sense of space in the body.
Working with the breath, we will enjoy mindfulness practices to settle the mind and quieten the busyness.
Our morning will end with a guided 'yoga nidra' or 'yogic sleep' practice. During this deep, guided relaxation you will be invited to snuggle under a blanket and give your body and mind chance to melt away tension as you rest.
Hot drinks, fruit and snacks will be available throughout the morning, with time given to connect with other mums, journal, or simply to rest under a blanket and enjoy some quiet.
Suitable for all mums, regardless of age or ability. Babes in arms are welcome.
